Although is not that much of a celebration here in Portugal, Halloween is here and I always find myself drooling over some creative and cool decorations for this time of the year. And if you're looking for some extra inspo and items for your terrifying night check out Asos Halloween items selection.

Happy Halloween y'all!

PRINT MY WORLD

After a long time, #Fromaroundtheblock is back and today's post features this new portuguese project, Print My World. I could't be more thrilled when these happy moments popped up on my mailbox. I'm addicted to social networks but I must say Instagram is definitely my favourite, so seeing some of my insta snaps on paper, was just too cool.  Instagram makes the world look good right? But our photos get stuck in an almost endless feed and we kinda' forgot some moments, and our favourites ones shouldn't be stuck online in a digital world.

Print My World turn your digital moments stuck on your phone into these real cute square shaped photos. With just a few clicks and easy steps, you choose the print type/shape and the amount of photos you want. The print quality is amazing, I assure you. Can't wait to get a bunch more from my Instagram shots and make a cool album out of it.

Ckeck their work here and here. Bring your favourite pictures into the real thing and print away!

FALL SET

Although the summer heat is lighting up these past days, Fall is here and with it come some new favourites. These are some of my picks in the accessories slash beauty items department for this season. I must say I'm totally and absolutely addicted to my Adidas Originals Superstar 80's Metal toe. They're are so damn beautiful and cool, I can't even describe how much I love them. And I'm anxiously waiting for the colder days to go out and grab my Zara's fur clutch . How cute is it right?

NASTY GAL x MAC

images via Nasty Gal

Newsflash, beauty lovers! Two weeks ago was announced Julia Petit collab and now the coolest #girlboss has teamed up with M.A.C to create three badass lipsticks in bright red, deep violet and burgundy, and a 'Flaming Rose' nail lacquer. Sophia Amoruso is a young genius and now she's adding cosmetics design to her accomplishments. The collection drops M.A.C and Nasty Gal stores December 4th, so get nasty gals. I absolutely love M.A.C collabs!

Have a lovely week y'all.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

It seems that Summer is back in town these days and today I wish I wore this. It's Balenciaga SS13 and it's gorgeous! Could skip the shoes though...

FAUX FUR AND CROC

The eternal want versus can issue. On the left, a camouflage patchwork coat in faux fur from Topshop, and to the right, a camouflage coat from Valentino. What's your pick? Budget or luxe? And then we have a croc effect bag from Mango against a croc-embossed bag from Saint Laurent.
What would you do, spend or save?

ISABEL MARANT AW14 CAMPAIGN

I love everything about the new Isabel Marant FW1415 campaign shot by the Dutch fashion photographer duo, Inez & Vinoodh,  known for their work for fashion magazines, advertising campaigns, and for their independent art work (check their work here). The effortless and elegant aesthetics of the brand, now, more inspired in menswear that usual make me like it even more. Oh, and the all the visuals with the images 90º rotated plus the perpendicular type crossing the images is just  really cool right?!And Gisele, of course, gorgeous as always!

Have a great sunny week y'all!

AFTER THE STORM

Skyporn made of floating clouds no longer carrying rain or storm, just color and warmth.
Tropicalia snaps from my window, that made me happy for a few minutes there.

H&M STUDIO COLLECTION FALL 2014

Some Fall cravings on this wednesday. The Swedish retailer was already leading the fast-fashion industry, but now they've turned around and surprised us with H&M Studio, a premium line with the brand's key seasonal outings.  The collection staples furry jackets, satin shorts and asymmetric dresses. Dark, floral maxi dresses, gauzy silks and bra tops are some of the favourites items that we're gearing up to get, stat.

M.A.C x JULIA PETIT

Forget Rihanna and Marge Simpson. My ultimate crush girl, just lands her own M.A.C Collection. You probably know her.  Brazilian, super cool it girl, beauty junk, model and blogger,  Julia Petit promises to shake up your makeup bags next Spring. That's no secret that I love a great M.A.C collab, and the brand knows how to not only let the individuality of their collaborator shIne through, but also ensure the quality of their products.  The 11 product range was inspired by her hometown - São Paulo - specifically a flower that grows there. I could't be more thrilled to hear about this collection and I can't wait for the launching.

Have a lovely week y'all.

SEPTEMBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

It's time for my monthly favourites and this time it's all about Kiko.  The Italian "it" girl brand in the beauty world is one of my favourites. For those of you, like me, who haven't quite up the courage to splash out on pricy pricy products, there are some Kiko ones that do a very similar job. The price point sits somewhere between drugstore and M.A.C, so Kiko is definitely a lot cheaper option.

Invisible Powder   |   As I said before my skin is the oily type so this kind of product is on my everyday routine. I used to go for the MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Power, but this one it really does the job right matyfying and fixing the make-up.

Boulevard Rock Face Brush   |    Is specifically developed for applying face powders and it's very very very soft, really. I love it! As all the brand brushes, it's made out of synthetic hair, perfect for blending baked, compact or loose powders without leaving marks. I already mentioned the soft part?!

Face Make Up Fixer  |  An old buddy of mine and probably my best Kiko purchase ever.  It evaporates instantaneously, turning into this imperceptible and non sticky formula and, damn, it really fixes your make-up for hours and hours. The 75ml bottle size is also perfect to carry in your bag.

Velvet Mat Lipstick 606 and 601  |   The perfect red and nude shades. Mat but not in a dry mat way, with a very soothing and velvety finish.  Love them!

Double Touch Lipstick 112   |   It's similar to the Sephora Collection Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color, but this one is a lipstick duo with the shining effect option. It also lasts for hours like the Sephora one and don't dry or crack.

Nail polishes in all shades as possible |   My nail polish collection is huge. I absolutely love the MAC ones ( the special editions are my favs) and Essie also,  but I must say that, lately, the Kiko ones are always my pick up choice, specially the metallic shades. The color range is amazing and their quality is pretty good.

Hair Shadow and Hair Fixer  |  My last Kiko purchase and a really fun one. For those who, like me, haven't the guts to dye your hair (I love a pastel hair but....!!), this is a super cool way to do it. It's a temporary hair colouring powder, available in six shades and the color can be removed simply by washing your hair.   After applying it, just spray it on with the Hair Fixer to set the shadow pigments. However, there's a no no to this product. If you're wearing light clothes on top, the coloured hair can eventually spot them a little bit.

It's great to see more affordable hight quality beauty products enter the market. Do any of these catch your eye? Or is there anything else you've been loving from Kiko?
